Meet Your Trainer- Noel

I’m a Jacksonville native who has had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. When I was a toddler, my parents would find me sitting in our dog’s crate, happily sharing my popsicles with them. As a young girl, I was constantly bringing home stray or needy animals, convinced that every animal I met needed a little help.

My journey with dog training officially began at 18, when I brought home my first dog, Nova, a Siberian Husky. I found her on Craigslist after local Husky rescues wouldn’t adopt to a first-time dog owner living in an apartment—which, looking back, I can now completely understand why! What I didn’t know then was that I was bringing home one of the naughtiest puppies imaginable.

After struggling to keep up with Nova, I sought help from local trainers. What started as training for my dog quickly became training for me. With patience, consistency, and a whole lot of hard work, Nova and I completely transformed together. That experience sparked the passion I still have today for helping dogs and their owners build better relationships and achieve things they never thought possible.

I began working part-time at a dog boarding and grooming facility before transitioning into dog training full-time. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, personalities, and temperaments. And yes—you really can teach an old dog new tricks!

Today, I share my life with three incredible dogs: my Australian Shepherd, Riptide and two Siberian Huskies, Kodak and Nova—now my retired service dog. The same dog who once seemed like the world’s naughtiest puppy went on to become my service dog, and that journey is a constant reminder that anything is possible with the right guidance, dedication, and relationship.

Riptide and I also actively compete in a variety of dog sports, including obedience, scent work, agility, conformation, dock diving, herding, lure coursing, and more. Continuing to learn and challenge ourselves has become an important part of my life and my approach to training.

My passion for helping dogs and their people drives me every day to keep learning, keep improving, and help my clients reach their goals. Whether you’re bringing home your first puppy, working through challenging behaviors, or dreaming of competing with your dog, I’m here to help you build the skills, confidence, and relationship to get there.
